Can you imagine that we ask you to organize teams between 2 and 12 people to participate in a 60km race, running or walking through nature: Terrassa-Collserola-Vall del Besòs–Barcelona coast… and during the journey you are required to pick any abandoned litter and residues, apart from getting 600€ to formalize the inscription?

So basically that is what we asked you to do from SUBMON. You are required to organize a team and participate in the Ultra Clean Marathon to run for nature (and especially for the Ocean) in an event that joins sport and environmental awareness and which gives visibility to the organizations that work for nature conservation in Catalonia.

Run for nature

The Nature Conservation Network (XCN) organizes this sports and environmental challenge on the 6th of June. The aim is that the participants could give the donations of their inscription to one of the organizations that works in conservation projects in the catalan territory.

From SUBMON, we want to encourage you to be creative in order to get the 600€ for nature and to be brave donate the money to marine environment. We will be the custodians of these donations and will explain you to which projects will be the funds allocated.

We will be happy to tell you more about how to proceed in each phase and help you with ideas to get the money for the inscription.

More info and inscriptions: https://ultracleanmarathon.cat/ca/ucm-tria-la-teva-causa/

SUBMON is member of the XCN and currently it is part of the Management Board.

*As always, there are small print and exceptions everywhere: it is required that any team member does at least 10km and always two participants in the race (and yes, you can walk)
