Registration and abstract submission open for Sharks International 2022
As we announced a few months ago, Valencia will host this year the fourth edition of Sharks International 2022, an international conference on elasmobranchs that is held every four years and this year will take place in Valencia, organised by The Shark Trust, Lamna and Submon.

From Monday 9 May, registrations are open for the digital conference, in person or the full conference package. The abstract submission is also open and will close on 6 June, although the poster submission period will remain open until 4 July.
The conference will have a hybrid format covering 2 weeks of content. An online congress from 10-14 October, and an in-person congress from 20-22 October, to be held at the Oceanogràfic in Valencia.
As a hybrid event, Sharks International 2022 offers both physical and digital presentation formats. The online event will provide a platform for live and pre-recorded presentations and discussion sessions. Traditional posters will be available as well as video posters, an exciting new format that offers delegates the opportunity to present in the language of their choice, and we are working on subtitling for greater audience participation. During the in-person days, you will find a combination of traditional presentations and posters, along with digital content to enable broad participation. All content will be available via the online platform to all registered delegates.
In addition, on the days before and after the in-person congress there will be the possibility to organise different workshops or meetings that will provide the opportunity to share the latest laboratory and field techniques, discuss new and emerging topics or present new projects.
