Since 2002
he has worked in marine animal rehabilitation and conservation campaigns, working closely with fishermen, and establishing and training volunteer networks.
Furthermore, he is currently delegate for Spain of the European Elasmobranch Association and member of the IUCN’s Shark Specialist Group.
He has worked as external consultant for fisheries and legislative processes, taking part as national coordinator in the international campaigns of “Shark Alliance” and the “Deep Sea Conservation Coallition”.
In SUBMON
he is partner, where he is charge of the field work in many projects, including the study and monitoring of underwater species and ecosystems, sampling or working on board fishing vessels as fishery observer.
